Notion’s STAR^® Manager is an award-winning online management skills training programme developed to improve the capability of anyone with line management responsibility for others, by enabling learners to incorporate coaching-related behaviours into their everyday management style, a skillset that has been shown repeatedly to increase employee engagement, productivity, and the performance of teams.

The programme can be completed any time, any place, anywhere and on any device… as long as there’s an internet connection. The programme can be started immediately, can be completed it in as little as 5 months and learners can gain an (optional) Level 4 qualification in the process! There are no onerous paperwork or assessments, and most of the learning can be easily integrated into the working day.

If you already have a busy life then fear not, this programme can be completed in bite-sized chunks of just 2 x 30-minute sessions a week.

If you have time for a coffee, you now have time for a management development programme!

The programme includes 20 online modules, each 20-45 minutes long.

The first 10 modules are focused on developing YOU and YOUR management style
The second 10 modules are focused on developing your skills to proactively develop and support OTHERS

CONTENT: 20 ONLINE MODULES, WORKPLACE MISSIONS & REFLECTIVE LOG

DURATION:: 5-6 Months

STUDY TIME PER WEEK:: approx. 45-mins to 1-hour (scheduled whenever it's convenient for you)

QUALIFICATION: LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATE IN STAR^® OPERATIONAL COACHING^®

Learners have 12 months to complete the programme from registration date

STAR^® Manager includes 20 modules covering 2 programmes: STAR^® Coach (Modules 1 to 10) and STAR^® Manager (Modules 11-20).

STAR^® Coach consists of 10 modules of blended learning content. Becoming a STAR^® Coach is all about adopting new behaviours on the way to developing a more engaging style of management. By incorporating the principles of Operational Coaching^®, managers begin to develop the situational awareness and the confidence to have great conversations with their team members every day and in the moment.

The journey continues onto STAR^® Manager, with a further 10 modules that focus on your skills to develop the capability and performance of others. This is all about taking learners’ skills to the next level enabling them to have more structured developmental conversations with their team members. Developing the confidence to encourage performance improvement in others is at the core of STAR^® Manager and engaging with and being able to share accountability by enabling team members to carry more of the load is one key benefit for busy managers.
