Scrum Master  E-Learning & Exams

What is Scrum?

Scrum is an agile framework for managing complex products or knowledge work. It started in software development, although it has wide application in other fields and is now being widely used by traditional project teams and more generally throughout businesses.

It is designed for teams of three to nine members, who break their work into tasks that can be completed within time-boxed iterations, called sprints, no longer than one month and most commonly two weeks, then track progress and re-plan in 15-minute time-boxed stand-up meetings, called daily scrums.

The sprint starts with a planning session and has a review of the output then a retrospective of the team effectiveness at the end. CUPE offers the widely recognised Scrum Master qualification from APMG as an acknowledged leading accreditation organisation.

By attending a Scrum Master course, you will:

  • Understand the Scrum framework.
  • Be familiar with the empirical process approach
  • Know the Scrum roles and responsibilities
  • Know the Scrum artefacts and their uses
  • Understand how the Scrum Master provides leadership to the Scrum Team
  • Be prepared for the APMG Agile Business Consortium Scrum Master examination

E-learning and exams

CUPE International’s Exam Plus 30 Day packages are a much more flexible and cost-effective method than taking a classroom course.

They are ideal for those who have self-studied and just need revision e-learning and sample papers before taking the exams or for those who need a resit.

The exams must be taken within 30 days of purchase and can be sat online 24/7 or at our Bournemouth test centre any working day. The exams can also be taken in London or other locations by arrangement at an additional fee.

 Bespoke and In-house

courses

CUPE’s in-house option is the best way to train groups of staff on your premises.  The course can be scheduled to fit in with your company’s calendar and for groups of 4 or more, this works out more cost-effective than having them attend a public course. The course can be tailored to suit your needs by building the course around your business and business processes thereby making the course more relevant to your circumstances.
