I T- I L This is an acronym for Information Technology Infrastructure Library), focuses on aligning IT services with the needs of business using a set of detailed practices for IT service management (ITSM). It is used by thousands of organisations globally and a whole philosophy has developed around the guidance contained within the books.
The method describes processes, procedures, tasks, and checklists which can be applied by an organization for establishing integration with the organization’s strategy, delivering value and maintaining a minimum level of competency. A baseline can be established from which the organisation can plan, implement and measure. I T-I L can also be used to measure improvement and demonstrate compliance.
